Tom Seider Appointed to Civil Jury Instructions Committee

The Florida Supreme Court has appointed Brannock Humphries & Berman shareholder Tom Seider to a three-year term on the Standard Jury Instructions Committee for Civil Cases.

This Committee is responsible for preparing standard jury instructions for use in civil cases, a task that requires it to continuously review statutes and judicial decisions to ensure that the standard instructions are up to date.  The Committee meets several times a year to review and amend the instructions.

Before joining the Committee as a full-fledged member, Tom served a two-year term as the reporter for the Committee, keeping a detailed accounting of the Committee’s meetings.  His new term as a voting Committee member begins January 1, 2022, and runs through December 31, 2024.
