Joe Eagleton, Tom Seider Take on New Bar Leadership Roles

Brannock Humphries & Berman shareholders Tom Seider and Joe Eagleton have been appointed to new positions with the Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Section.

After serving as chair of the pro bono committee and vice chair of the continuing legal education committee, Joe Eagleton has been elevated to Secretary of the Section for the 2022-2023 Bar year.  Joe joins Judge Carrie Ann Wozniak, the Chair; Kansas Gooden, the Chair-Elect; Courtney Brewer, the Treasurer; and Kimberly Jones, the Immediate Past Chair, as one of the five officers managing the Section.

In addition, Tom Seider has been elected to a three-year term on the Section’s executive council, the body that oversees the Section’s work.  Tom is also continuing his longtime role as chair of the publications committee.

The Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar is an organization devoted to promoting excellence in Florida’s state and federal appellate courts.  Brannock Humphries & Berman’s lawyers have been involved in the Section for many years.  Steve Brannock and Ceci Berman are past chairs of the Section, and Celene Humphries spearheads the annual course offered by the Section to assist lawyers studying for the appellate board certification exam.
