Five Brannock Humphries & Berman Attorneys Recognized Among Florida Trend’s Legal Elite

Florida Trend Magazine has listed Steve Brannock, Celene Humphries, and Ceci Berman among the top 1.4 percent of Florida lawyers in its 2020 Legal Elite rankings, also singling out Tom Seider and Joe Eagleton as Up & Comers, a group that includes just 112 lawyers statewide under the age of 40.

Now in its seventeenth year, the Florida Trend Legal Elite annually recognizes the state’s top attorneys, as selected by their peers.  Florida Trend’s multi-layered selection process asks all actively practicing Florida lawyers to name the attorneys they hold in highest regard – lawyers with whom they have personally worked and would recommend to others.  Voters are also asked to name three “up and coming” attorneys.  Nominees are then reviewed by a panel of previous Legal Elite winners representing different practice areas in cities across the state.

Steve, Celene, and Ceci were all named to this year’s Legal Elite list, which includes fewer than 50 Florida appellate practitioners.  Steve and Celene are also among an even smaller number of Florida lawyers who have been inducted into the Legal Elite Hall of Fame, based on consistently earning high rankings from their peers in the annual voting.  

Tom and Joe made this year’s list of “Up & Comers,” a special category for attorneys under the age of 40 who have exhibited leadership in the law and in their community.  They are 2 of only 4 appellate attorneys on the list, which includes just 112 total Florida lawyers.
