Chambers USA Ranks Three Brannock & Humphries Lawyers Among Best In State

Described by peers as “fantastic,” “masterful,” “excellent,” and “very steeped” in the appellate world, Brannock & Humphries shareholders Steve Brannock, Celene Humphries, and Ceci Berman were all listed on Chambers USA’s 2019 ranking of the top appellate lawyers in Florida. No other Florida law firm of any size has more lawyers listed in Chambers’ appellate practice rankings.

Every year, Chambers USA ranks the best lawyers in each state for various practice areas.  These rankings are based on extensive research undertaken by more than 200 full-time editors and researchers employed at Chambers’ head office in London.  Rankings are not completed and listed until Chambers talks to lawyers and clients, conducting in-depth telephone and email interviews.  The focus is on lawyers who handle complex, significant matters.

This year, Chambers ranked Steve Brannock as a top-tier, “Band 1” appellate lawyer, one of only 11 lawyers in the state to receive this distinction.  Steve was praised as a “masterful, smart guy” and a “fantastic appellate lawyer.” 

Celene Humphries was listed among six other lawyers in “Band 2,” singled out for producing “quality work” in “complex appellate cases.”  She remains one of the few lawyers on the list who specializes in representing personal injury plaintiffs on appeal.  

Ceci Berman, who was one of only eight lawyers in “Band 3,” was recognized as “a big piece of what’s going on at the firm.”  Chambers also noted her “diverse” and “fantastic” work in business disputes, real estate litigation, and probate matters.
