Mr. Moxon has enjoyed a lengthy career in appellate practice. During the twelve years before joining Brannock & Humphries, Mr. Moxon coordinated the appellate work of a major plaintiff’s firm in Tampa. Before that, Mr. Moxon had his own appellate practice, focusing on criminal defense and termination of parental rights, which stemmed naturally from his early career experience as an Assistant Public Defender in Hillsborough County.
Mr. Moxon earned his B.A. from Emory University in 1990, where he was on the Dean’s List every year and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to Harvard Law School where he graduated cum laude in 1994. While at Harvard, Mr. Moxon served on the Harvard Journal on Legislation as both a Line Editor and a Technical Editor. Shortly after graduation, Mr. Moxon achieved the highest score on the Florida Bar exam of all of the prospective attorneys who took the exam in the fall of 1994.
